My Pantry Makeover & experience with Shelf Reliance Cansolidator System

Awhile back I posted about my pantry can dilemma and told you I was determined to find a good solution for my problem. Well, I did! I found a Cansolidator by Shelf Reliance that was not only perfect, but easy as pie to put together.

It came to my front door in a nice little Shelf Reliance box and looked like this when I opened it.

I pulled out all the pieces and went to work assembling my 3 Cansolidator Pantry Systems.

It was really easy I just took the track and simply clicked the dividers into place.

To figure out how far apart I needed the dividers I just held the can I wanted in that section in-place and clicked the next divider in.

The tracks have numbers on them that make it easy to make sure you are clicking the front and back of the divider into the same holes. Then you just keep repeating the process of clicking the front and back tracks together and adding the dividers how ever you want them. Then add the leftover tracks to the top of the system when done.

The only can size I could not fit was the big cans of pumpkin because the diameter was to big for the divider space, but I only use that like once or twice a year.

I would also recommend assembling these systems on a hard surface to make it easier. I was too excited with my first one and didn't make it from the front door to the table and tried assembling it on the carpet.

The only thing I was somewhat disappointed about was that they did not come with any kind of labels. The picture of the systems online shows them with cute little labels so I was expecting them to come with them. I got over it when I realized it was a chance to make my own.

So just for you I have made them into a downloadable file for your can organizing pleasure!
Just Download, Print and Cut to size.

Now my pantry is super organized and there are no more jumbled cans. We even fight over who gets to put the cans away after we go grocery shopping. I bought some more Ikea food storage boxes that fit perfectly on top of my cansolidator systems. I was going to buy some more Ikeas glass Jars, but opted to use cheaper mason jars from the grocery store. Why I have not thought of that before I do not know. I simply hot glue gunned the caps to the lids so that  they are easier to take on and off. I still have my orchard baskets of course. I love storing onions and potatoes in these along with bags of chips and snacks. I love how great everything looks especially my cans, and look forward to continuing to make this space more usable and friendly.
