Bake Sale: Sold Out!

The Bake Sale was a big success! I sold out of everything we had by three and had to hide a cupcake for myself. I couldn't believe that I had made the perfect amount of everything. Although a lot of you wished I would have made more cookie mix jars (maybe next year). We raised a little over $300 which I thought was great for a one women small neighborhood Bake Sale! Thanks Everyone!!!

I got a little emotional Saturday morning while I was frosting the cupcakes and everyone was sleeping in. Everything was coming together just how I had envisioned, and it is always a wonderful feeling to be in a place in life where you can give back. I call those kind of moments "dream come true moments". For me my dreams are simple things like elegant dinners out side with friends and pretty bake sales, but it really is a place in life I have worked hard to achieve and have always dreamed of, and it is so fun to see those moments come together just as I have always imagined they would. This has got to be a good life!

I weaved pink and white crepe paper on the table to make a cute decorative DIY table covering.
I loved how it turned out and how the long ends blew in the wind.

A Big Thank You to Put a Wrap on it for the amazing custom candy wrappers.

My Husband for supporting all my crazy ideas and "quality control" issues, and

We Love You!

  16. Your bake sale is beauitful! I ran across your blog and this post as i was looking for ideas and how to do a bake sale. My children have a rare disease called Bardet-Biedl syndrome and part of it means that they will go blind. In June we are doing a walk for fighting blindness. I would like to have a bake sale to help raise money for it. Please, if you have any pointers or ideas, I would love your input on how to do it and pricing! I am starting from scratch! My blog is twolittlereasons.blogspot.com and my email is nicolelove_123@hotmail.com Thank you!
